X5 Pro Slalom Waterski
2008 D3 X5 Pro Slalom Waterski

Scott Tynan

New for 2008 the X5 PRO is the perfect blend of speed and stability. With a stiffer torsional flex and slightly more rocker than the CX the X5 PRO is a world class, short-line slalom performer. Denny has tuned the fore body of the ski for better angle through the wakes. Crisper, more defined bevels at the tip, a full 12” flat spot, aggressive tail rocker and an ultra- lightweight machined core help the 2008 X5 PRO perform even better for the short-line slalom course skier. Stable and incredibly symmetrical on both sides of the course, the X5 is the most predictable short-line slalom design available.

Aerospace E-Core

  • Faster rebound. Reduced swing weight

HTC (high torsion carbon) lay-up

  • Improves speed across and holding power into the edge change.

New rocker pattern

  • Tightens the radius of the turn on both sides of the course.

Extreme shortline flex pattern

  • Extra stiffness in the tip provides additional support at the shortest line lengths.

Micro-Tuned Bevels

  • Reduces skier effort out of the turn making it easier to hold maximum angle.

Tougher insert anchors

  • Insert anchors have been strengthened for problem free mounting.
  • New insert design provides strength and eliminates the binding plates leverage on the insert and anchor.
